Thessaloniki – Day Trip B’

A culinary day trip to a Mediterranean farm; spend a day at the American Farm School of Thessaloniki and enjoy the opportunity to observe, participate and learn.

Take an extended tour of the farm, where students of all ages undertake practical training in agricultural production and animal husbandry. First stop: the Vineyard and Winery, where you will learn about the wine-making process and have a wine-tasting. Continue the tour to the beautiful olive grove, the greenhouses & nursery and the American Farm School Dairy, where you will gather plenty of information about all of these farming activities.

Participate in a hands-on cooking seminar on Mediterranean cuisine guided by the school’s chef, where you‘ll prepare a delicious meal by using the farm pure & fresh products. After lunch, get involved in some gardening, using aromatic plants, or take part in a roll-playing game to close the day.
