Tour Description
Upon arrival to Piraeus port, transfer to Athens centre and begin your sightseeing tour. From the Acropolis to Omonia Square, you'll see all the famous sites of ancient and modern Athens, on this comprehensive tour.

Offering a perfect overview of the modern city, this guided tour will help you get your bearings if this is your first visit to Athens. Depart for Panathinaikon Stadium, the cradle of the first Olympic Games took place in 1896 (short stop). Pass by the Prime’s Ministers residence, Ex Royal Palace, (guarded by colourful Evzones) Zappion (Conference and Exhibition Hall).

Proceed, passing by the Roman Temple of Olympian Zeus. Continue passing by the National Garden, Hadrian’s Arc, St. Paul’s Church, the Parliament, the Tomb of the Unknown soldier, Schlieman’s House (Nomismatic Museum), the Catholic Cathedral, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Old Parliament, the Constitution Square, the Russian Orthodox Church and finally, the Acropolis (visit Propylae, Temple of Athena Nike, Parthenon, Erechtheion), the trademark of Pericles’ Golden Age.

Upon finishing the detailed visit to the Acropolis Hill, visit the New Acropolis Museum, hosting antiquities from the Golden Age of Athens, exhibited in the first time ever. Further, enjoy a lunch in a typical Greek restaurant in the picturesque area of Plaka, before returning to Piraeus port and embark to the cruise ship.
